Over at Uncle Sam’s Retail Outlet, you can get a USMC chest rig for $20. It probably will not come with the harness, but one can easily be made. I used a USMC Source hydration bladder pack, $10 at Uncle Sam’s, but probably any camel-back type pack would work, or an old ALICE y-harness, or [Continue]
“First they came for the blacks, and I spoke up because it was wrong, even though I’m not black. Then they came for the gays, and I spoke up, even though I’m not gay. Then they came for the Muslims, and I spoke up, because it was wrong, even though I’m an atheist. When they [Continue]
Saw this on The Smallest Minority today: After the 1996 school shooting in Dunblane, Scotland, the British Parliament rushed through legislation banning handguns above .22 rimfire caliber, and it wasn’t a ban saying “You can’t have any more,” it was a “Mr. & Mrs. Law-abiding British Subject, we know who you are and we know [Continue]
ATF’s Milwaukee sting operation marred by mistakes, failures They had guns stolen from them, their “undercover” store was burglarized, then they stiffed the landlord for $15000 in damages and back rent/utilities. And they were paying such high prices for guns that people were going to Gander Mountain and buying new guns then going to them [Continue]

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example [Continue]
“Among the many misdeeds of British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.” – Mohandas Gandhi, an Autobiography, page 446.

It’s for UZI grip converted M10s, but it will work with mine with a different adapter. Sadly, Practical Solutions is (hopefully temporarily) closed, so I’m [Continue]

my checks to the batf(e) cleared on July 31st, 2012. Six more months to go
thanks to the neighbor down the street who set out two bowling balls on his curb, I now have 11, and thus will be building a bowling ball mortar! (I wanted to wait till I had enough “ammo” for at least 10 shots before building one). So….anyone have an unused/old oxygen tank they need to [Continue]
sent off the paperwork yesterday, the BATF(E) countdown begins! current estimate is six months
Got our trust notarized and will be meeting with the dealer on Sunday to fill out the paperwork and get it sent off to the batf(e). Then the wait begins!
“Innocent people dying was the objective of Fast and Furious, not collateral damage. It would be as if the Bush administration had implemented a covert operation to dump a dangerous abortifacient in Planned Parenthood clinics, resulting in hundreds of women dying — just to give pro-lifers an argument about how dangerous abortion clinics are. That’s [Continue]

Now just have to wait on the lawyer to finish the trust documents so we can do the paperwork and then wait six months-ish to get it transferred to me! Also, [Continue]
I’ve ordered a Bowers CAC .45 caliber suppressor for it, and a (used) Lage m10/9 slow fire upper receiver for it. The Lage I should get next week and it was only fired about 50 rounds. Beats having to wait 3-5 months for one, plus it was several hundred dollars less. Not a bad deal. [Continue]
